I measured myself this week - and was happily surprised (mostly). I lost 1" in my bust and 1/2" on each leg - but my waist was 3" BIGGER! Unless I measured incorrectly the last time ... :S I will see how it goes over the next month.
SLEEP: Do you need a lot of sleep to feel well? I do. Always have. But I do get up with my husband each morning at 5:30 (love mornings!) and with teenagers/young adults in the home, I often end up waiting up for them at night ... which causes a dilemma for me. I've tried various ways of getting around this but napping the afternoon - while I'm not opposed to it - it does often seem like a waste of time. I've tried to go to bed early (9:30) but that hasn't worked out so well with our daughters wanting to chat at bedtime (what is it with young adults and late evenings?!) Anyway, this week I decided that if 5:30 is my wake time, 9:30 is MY BEDTIME. And...I made it for two days in a row! LOL I napped this afternoon. BUT, for those two days sans nap, with going to bed at 9:30, I FELT GREAT during the day! It really does make sense for me to do. (I think this will be easier to manage once DD21 get married in March and then DD18 will be our only at-home child ... kinda sad to think about, but our reality, and exciting times ahead for her & her fiance too!)
EXERCISE: I'm happy to say that I'm in a good groove with my daily exercise. I walk each morning for about 50 minutes - or more. It is such a good way to start the day! So far our weather hasn't been an issue - we have had some cold and only two days where we had some snow/ice to deal with, lots of rainy days - and many more mild days! (see my Pedometer graph below - note my Saturdays - have to improve there. I don't wear my pedometer on Sundays - my rest day - so that messes up my weekly stats.)

The way you are walking, you will pass that hurdle soon! The reason I hate measuring my body is because I can NEVER remember where I measured at last time! I tried using markers or moles and stuff, but then I just seemed to keep getting more moles and freckles and stayed confused. Lol I am def one who needs LOTS of sleep. I'm like a kid. I could really use a solid 10 hours every night. Crazy! Glad the 9:30 is working for you. :)
